1993 permanent loan to von Portheim-Stiftung, Museum of Antropology Heidelberg
The city of heidelberg co-financed the new „ASMAT-house“ at the von Portheim-foundation. The Universität of Heidelberg established a three year research post with  the Antropologists  Dr. Peter Hanser und Dr. Thomas Michel.

The men house was taken over by the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum in Cologne and will be displayed in the new building of the museum.

In the long run the public should get access to the whole collection.
