The purpose of this association is the promotion of art, culture and lifestyle of the original nature of the Asmat people at home and abroad with a focus in their home territory of Indonesia and Germany.
The purpose of this Statute is implemented in part through
• the implementation and promotion of exhibitions on art and culture of the Asmat and the maintenance and care of collections of Asmat art and cultural property,
• scientific research and publication and documentation of research results in ownership or through third persons,
• Preservation, revitalization, and development of art and culture of the nature of the Asmat people through the training of people and projects to promote the lifestyle, working conditions.
